first all I , I am never against finding a cure for any disease- my husband suffers with diabetes and I have suffered with fibromyalgia for all of 12 of my 50 years. However, I am against using embryonic cells to help either of us. Skin cells, could be the answer here, and now I do not have anything against using them- due to the fact skin cells grow back and do not die. Why would you have to say th e daughter of an atheist? Any life is precious.

I was never against it. In fact, I am a big proponent. I AM against embryonic stem cell research. There is a BIG difference between embryonic and adult stem cell research. Besides, embryonic is actually not that promising, so if we can replicate it now, do away with it completely.

There is still considerable doubt that this "discovery" will prove as beneficial as will continued research into embryonic stem cells or that it can be made to address all queries involving stem cells. My educated guess is that both lines of research will continue to be necessary.

Now that stem cells can be made from skin cells, do the non-believers still want to kill embryos?

Not at all, as you see, it proves the point we have said from the beginning, you do not need to kill a child to do your research. Now the question is who can we best prosecute the butchers who did kill these children in the first place, instead of doing what these true scientist have done.
