Last night I noticed a couple spots on my Great Danes belly, they look like skin tags, is that what they are? Her next vet check is not till Feb. should I go ahead and make a new appointment. She is 4 years old and I have never seen them on her before, they are not ticks or fleas Im sure of that. Any advise will be great. Thanks

It may be nothing but i think it is worth a trip to the vet just in case. It wont hurt if there is nothing wrong, but if there is its better to find out early than wait an find its something serious.

Both my danes have skin tags on their chests. Their vet has checked them out and said they were harmless.

As always, if you're in doubt, see a vet yourself. It's much better to go in sooner and find out it's nothing, rather than to wait forever and potentially find out it's something really bad.

Skin tags (if that's what they are), are usually harmless and won't need to be removed unless they are irritating her. If you are not sure what they are, and she is licking or biting at them, you might want to have them checked out. If they're simply skin tags, it'll be an easy check-up and you'll feel better about it, and if they're not, you'll know exactly what they are! :)

skin tags are perfectly harmless. Even humans get them.

Yes, call the vet.
It could be allergies.
