1. Evidence for? People say he exists. But this is an opinion, not objective evidence.
2. Can this evidence be repeated under controlled/laboratory conditions? Bring someone into a laboratory to say 'God exists' ?
3. Can the evidence be explained by any other theory? Yes: the person is mad.
4. Does the hypothesis make any verifiable predictions? God is good, and God created the world, so everything in the world is good.
5. Can the predictions be verified or falsified - only if we have an objective 'goodometer'.
6. Does the hypothesis make any numerical predictions? No
And so on.

Scientifically speaking, when you say "God exists", you should first define God. Is God a living person? Does he look like human beings? Why do we call him God and what does the word God mean scientifically? If God means a creator of the Universe, then is he not part of the Universe? Did he alone exist before the Universe was created? Who created Him? This is how a scientific mind starts investigation with any hypothesis. Keep thinking like this and draw your own conclusions.

Nope. that God exists or does not exist can not be proven or disproven. Therefore the basic assumption either for or against is taken on faith alone. These types of arguements based on these types of assumptions are most properly philosophy. As in euclidian and reimanns geometry--the logic of both postions are valid-but the basis assumptions are different-and thus what is true in one not true in the other. Faith based assumptions that are unprovable are not amenable to analysis via the scientific methold.

If You are brave enough to actually read it, Norman Geisler and Frank Turek do a nice job of logically explaining why Christianity is the most logical choice. See I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TO BE AN ATHEIST. It shows that atheism is the one that may be the least logical and requiring the most faith,.....yes even from a scientific approach.

Can't you see it in even a blade of grass? What about the way the leaves are blowing across your yard in the most beautiful swirl of color? What about the smell of Gardenias? Most of all..... What about the way people love each other? The way people forgive each other and take care of other people's needs for no apparant reason.
Hebrews 11:3
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is visible was made out of what is NOT visible.
I believe faith is a gift from God, just like all of those incredible things that we all enjoy in nature. Ask Him for it if you are struggling.
My best to you and your family this Holiday season. May you find what you are looking for.

does God exists?
of course he does, period.
do you know a man, any man that can create earth, flowers, hummingbirds, air, PEOPLE, etc... the human being is a very complex organism and yet with our brain capacity, we cannot create any of those things. God exists, and he has a really good sense of humor, just look around you..

Scientific method doesnt work for God. It only works for things that can be weighed and measured. If something is in the realm of your human understanding it is not God.
