If you want to give it a try, by all means, but do so with it a second priority. you want confidence? then get a good education, you'll feel better about yourself if you do, and you wont have to rely on modeling. allot of the problems associated with modeling happen because when their career is ending (at what like 25?) they get depressed and fall to drugs, because they no nothing else. with a education, you can fall back to your day job, stress free...
Trust me i am a guy, and the more beautifully models running around the better, but do so smart. take care of yourself, and don't let modeling take you over, be yourself first and a model second.

Convedience? What on earth is that?!! No wait, I'm joking I get that you mean confidence!!
Don't do it. There are so many far better jobs out there. What's the big deal with modelling? The stress of it all would be enormous

Go down this route and spend the rest
of your life worrying about how you
appear, spending long hours standing
around, potentially taking drugs to
make you feel prettier, etc...
If you're not carefull, you'll end
up basing your entire self worth on
your appearance.
And then being all washed up by 35.
I know I won't be able to convince you
not to go down this road so all I can
hope is that you might be one of the
lucky ones who can pull this off and
have a happy life.
I strongly suggest you develop other
interests, especially ones that earns
money, as you enter into modeling.

looking at your picture you appear to be a horse so a modelling job is out of the question

at least you won't have to spell to become a model...
sorry, just joking. Just make sure you can take rejection well and that you are happy within yourself, because the way they treat girls out there can be pretty harsh.
