Unfortunately, it's a bit of both. The anonymity we all enjoy can certainly bring out the worst in people who would never be so bold in the real world. I suppose that's a good thing, but what they fail to realize is that their words are just as hurtful in cyberspace.

Religion and Spirituality?
We live in a world where these two words have many definitions. In this “community” you can pick and choose your battles, stay with your own to pick yourself up when you need it and when you are strong speak out. As a Christian I listen to what other’s have to say, but I’m faithful to my God, my savior Jesus and know that the Holy Spirit is my guide. You can’t say “I’m a Christian” and then say it’s ok to be a …”what ever”….(as a true believer). When you understand where so many will end up at the end of time…will we be judged on how we held their hand and walked them to the lake? Yes, many here bait each other for the sake of an argument…that’s ok…in the long run…the knowledge is out there and it’s a permanent record.
Choose your questions and state your position…I believe this:
Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
People will continue until the end to preach the gospel.
1 Corinthians 9:18
What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
If it’s done rightly, Gods Word should stand on its own.
2 Corinthians 11:7
Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
Those who are offended…why are you offended?
1 Peter 1:25
But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
The word of the Lord endureth for ever…I’m not standing alone…many came before me and many will come after me.
Luke 9:5
And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
Biblical authority…not received move on.
Revelation 14:6
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
All will hear few will listen. Sad isn’t it.
God bless you,
Faith

the full 'debate' is what's a intense question? How do you gage somebody's sincerity? as quickly as you start up attempting to respond to questions like that then you definately start up getting into censorship and whilst there are some aspects (to me) that are open and close no bypass aspects in a public communicate board there are extra gray aspects then you definately comprehend. on the tip of the day it is straightforward sufficient to pass questions which you do in comparison to, in fact if extra human beings did that then there may well be much less room for a number of the idiots/trolls who infect Yahoo solutions oftentimes. I delight in non secular extra open ended questions the place there is a few room for debate or opinion. I shop coming lower back, because of the fact I nevertheless discover it beautiful how each and anyone of those human beings from diverse walks and a while of existence easily come mutually and start up communicatings innovations and ideology.

It sometimes seems to be both. This site shows the intolerance people still hold for other's beliefs. If we could all just learn that we each have a right and a responsibility to follow our own spiritual path, and stop trying to drag others down our trail with us, we'd be OK.

give them no fuel my friend. I always felt the more attention they get the more fire they will have to burn longer. I hate to see it but I understand why they are like that and it makes it easier to ignore. I think they are acting out for various reasons that I hope they work out some day. I think no matter what day it is there will be a few like this.
I hope it doesn't ruin your stay here :)

Some people are here to help others who have genuine questions, some are here because it's fun to insult and in their lives they don't get that option.
I think a vast majority of those who belittle and insult and use ugly sarcasm would be extremely embarrassed to have someone in their real life see their answers here.

Those who are ridiculous reap what they sow and ridicule shall be heaped upon those that deserve it.
On the other hand, some questions show a need to be educated and I do try. It is sometimes very difficult to turn off the sarcasm flow. Those who are grown-up should be able to cope with that.

And all these people are supposed to practice unconditional love <3
This is what is wrong with the world today, why there are wars, murder and selfish acts of violence.
A collective conscience of hate.
Do someone good today, give the gift of random acts of kindness for this holiday. :)
