The Word of God, and complete faith in the God of the Word. The bible has places through out it that actually say that dinosaurs and people co-existed- but let us say this, even if we were not on the earth until after the extinction of dinosaurs, that does not mean that humans were created by God. What makes you think that just because animals were here first, that we just evolved- I praise God for life-

We live in an infinite space yet we can't believe in infinity?
I suppose our DNA going back to two people defeats the evo theory,. If we evolved how could what ever evolve in to two persons than out of them many different ones (races, ethnicities, etc). If we were to evolve there would be multiples out of the "missing links" the theory is of what we came from last. Not just one chance incident. Those odds or beyond reason anyway.
If you think about 5 senses. A living thing must know or experience something to evolve into it. So the senses for example beat evolution theorim.

Let's see .... there was a news story that scientists have been able to make skin cells that act like embryonic stem cells, do you remember that? I think it was just the other day that story was published.
So you are saying that God, the creator of the universe, is unable to create a man. The same God who has been around for eternity doesn't have even the smallest amount of scientific knowledge? We can do only a small part of what He can do, and look what we've done in just a few thousand years ... but you can't believe that a Being who is light years more advanced than us can create a man. Interesting.

You see ... I'm sorry ... but I can only justify mine!
You know such a wonderful being like me just couldn't have
evolved just like that .... after the "presumed extinction of
dinosaurs"... On the contrary! When dinos first caught sight of
me ... and then looked at each other ... they all committed
suicide !
Think of the Cathedral of Cologne ! Look at it ! How could a
power throwing thousand of bricks up in the air build such a
beautiful gothic masterpiece without having it planned first and then accomplished ??
How much more I, as a human being, the image of my Mighty
Engineer and Master... as a Spirit .... Oh,why should I answer
such a question?
Science? What science? Which science?
Science can come from THE SCIENTIST only !!!!

Why are the two mutually exclusive? I don't see how (omitting the word evolved obviously). Why couldn't man be created after the extinction of dinosaurs?

You fail to see the greatness of it all. God says we are without excuse not to believe in Him. God's fingerprint is on everything that exists.
To this very day, man is unable to begin life. Jesus said, "I am life." Man will manipulate genes until he creates the mythology of old, but we will only be overrun by monsters. Half man, half animal is a welcome vessel for a fallen angel.

They don't question. They just believe. No proof required.
Arewethereyet: A being who is light years more advanced than we would not be your god. More likely to be an alien from a distant world who would shatter to smithereens your belief in the mythical Messiah and the religious dogma you irrationally accept as "truth."

They justify it by believing in an all-powerful God that created the laws of nature, and by that he is also able to suspend them for his purposes. Science has no application to the supernatural.
I don't know if that's what you were looking for, but that's what Christianity believes.
