I just answered a question about how evolutionists are unable to prove evolution.

http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlnXsBD6twhXjdtXJfWt210FEBV.;_ylv=3?qid=20071121035740AAz5v8W

I just thought it fair that the creationists get to prove their side as well. And please, no "The bible says it, so it's true" answers. If you can't intelligently debate the question, please go post you page long biblical quotes at someone else.

So, the question is, can you supply corroboration of the biblical story of creation. That means something that supports the story from a source other than the story. And I'm not asking you to disprove evolution, just supply corroborative evidence of creation. Thank you for indulging me. :)

Mastermind - Therefore the existence of a god implies a god-maker. And how does evolution equate with a closed system becoming more complex? And as I asked, I want evidence for creation, not against evolution.

birdsflies _ could you at least read what I asked before answering, especially when you are wrong. I didn't say you can't use the bible. I said you can't use the bible to support what the bible says. That's simply poor argument. So you can give me a passage from the bible, but you need to corroborate the passage with evidence from an independent source.

Lion of Judah - Well, I'd be interested in what your links contain, but as I'm on a slow connection and I pay by the megabyte, I'm afraid I'll have to pass on all the videos. If you have links to the text version I'd be happy to read them.

Santras - I'm sorry, I got as far as this - "Another reason no land animal fossil can be over 65 million years old is that due to erosion, North America should have been whittled down to sea level within 10 million years." and decided to not read further. There are obvious reasons this is incorrect, and if one of the opening statements is so evidently wrong, I'm not going to read the rest. Sorry.

I haven't answered this sort of question before so I don't have the "materials" with me. I'll try to find something on the net but I can't guarantee you that they are what I think they are. This is what I know.

1.) The amount of helium in atmosphere and rocks. You can see it if you fallow this link.
http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v20/i3/old_earth.asp
2.) You can find many fossils that shouldn't exist like dinosaur and human bones found together... Erosion...
http://www.yoel.info/greatcreationismproofs.htm
3.) The lack of salt in the oceans.

Sorry for not having more time to answer your question.

Edit

I've just, accidentally, found a video that answers your question. It's an hour long so if you have time, and I recommend that you find some, see it. It's great and in it there are many creationist proofs. You can find it here

Sorry, I've just seen your comment on no videos. Plus this one being an hour long. It's a pity cause everything you need to know is debated there. If you have a friend who has a fast connection try to see it with him.

The scientific law of biogenesis states that all life comes from previous life..it is not a theory but a scientific law that has been observed in every instance. Therefore, for life to have begun on earth, there must have been a point of abiogenesis which is the creation of life from non-living matter or from an external source which also would have begun from non-living matter. The Bible states that it was God's divine power that did this. Science is trying but has yet to show this is possible through purely natural means. Therefore, at this point of our understanding and knowledge, we can say it is possible that there is a God that created everything. We can also say that He may have left a record of it which is what we find in the Bible. No other book in history has totally accurate predictions or prophecies of distant future events as the Bible has which is what one would expect from a God that can see all of time that He created.
The corroboration of this is every living thing which must have come from from a previous living thing which goes back to a creation or abiogenesis. Evolution requires billions of years of time...a creator does not. Science is the search for and accumulation of knowledge....a creator would possess all knowledge of His creation. This is what we find in the Bible.

Here comes Piltdown Man, Nebraska Man and "those other fossils don't count".

Duane Gish! Hahahahahahahaa! He gets caught in a lie at one forum, admits he is wrong, then tells the same lie the next night at a different venue.

Falling over laughing!

Kent Hovind, not a real doctorate, never taught at an accredited school. Was a "science" teacher at a fundie Christian school in Pontiac, MI, briefly. Has no science background whatsoever. Currently serving a federal prison sentence on tax evasion convictions. So is Mrs. Hovind.

We live in an open system. The earth receives its energy from the sun. Game over. The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics does not apply to the earth.

It is strange how people wants an answer & yet they say don't use the bible, what do you want me to use, a comic book, Now trying not to use the bible, Let me ask anyone, who created the stars, the moon & the earth, Yes this is in the bible, but I will not tell you, & also what makes the laws of nature, remember I can't give you no scriptures(really I can). By the way, I don't have to prove God, he is more than capable of doing that himself.----------Now let me see exactly what you said, you say NO, The Bible says it, so it's true, What part of your own question don't you understand, you said you don't want us to say The bible says it, therefore you are taking the bible out of the picture. So when you tell us NO answer saying the Bible says it, means don't use the bible. Sorry you don't even understand what you asked.

The Big Bang Theory - the idea that our universe was created in an instantaneous moment - actually supports the Genesis account of creation quite nicely, thank you very much.

You could also argue the mathematical probabilities of "intelligent life created by accidental random chance" - so improbable as to be nil.

Finally - you could consider scientific dating of the origin of the earth - as compared to the number of years it would take for the development of hundreds of thousands of complex species all raised from the same liquid soupy mass of primordial goo - and realize quite frankly, there simply hasn't been enough time.

There is no evidence whatsoever to support creationism.

There is overwhelming evidence supporting evolution. Read any contemporary book on evolutionary biology. It may not be easy reading, but it will answer most people's questions.
