I finished my law degree last year and am half way through the legal practice course. As a trainee solicitor from my own experience I can tell you that it is a very demanding profession. Whilst the salary is good you have to work very hard for very long. Despite all this its is the most interesting and rewarding profession. You should embark upon it !

I don't know who said that to you but I always thought that was the one that gets made fun of the most... think about infamous lawyer jokes. Plus it has long hours and is supposed to be very stressful... so I guess I disagree with the statement.

I am an advocate.I can tell you that the returns are not the same for all the people.It is best provided you keep on updating knowledge.

Becuase thats the only profession where you take complete control of your clients and your clients have absolutely no clue about your trade secrets.
Most importantly; that is the only profession where client is scared from you :)
