Queensland is the greatest place (I'd better not say "in the world" although I think it is) - Apart from the Gold Coast with it's beaches and night life - It has the Sunshine Coast with so many fantastic beaches - there are all the fabulous (and expensive) islands like the Whitsundays - it has the mountains of the great dividing range. It has Ayres Rock. It has the Great Barrier Reef and it has SUNSHINE.
(It also has scorpions, snakes, spiders, lizards, cockroaches, flies, bull-ants and lots of other creepy crawlies - which is why, although I am terribly home-sick, I'll stay in cold, wet New Zealand)

There are literally hundreds of "nice small towns" in Queensland. Give us a bit of a hint on what you like about 'stars hollow' (presumably a fictional town). Do you prefer coastal, mountains, inland, desert, mining, reef, rivers, island, rainforest, hot, chilly, wet, dry, fishing, watersports, nightlife, clubs etc etc?

it is lovely it has the Gold Coast which is full of activity and shopping, Brisbane which has South Bank which is cool and then there is the Beautiful Sunshine Coast and the Markets in Eumundi

queensland is the tourist state of australia, so you will need a few months to enjoy some of it, or a lifetime to enjoy it all if you can immigrate here. welcome. www.australia.com
