What gets me when they predict the total melting of the Ice Caps, plus the North and South poles altogether and say the earth will be completely covered in water. Hm I say; has that really ever happen before. What we do know is that when the last Big Freeze over the lands from the last Ice Age. Is that it created land bridges between some continents like Britain and France were linked. There is also the fact that the Mediterranean Sea was actually land as well before it flooded. There was also a land bridge between Russia and Alaska and that is how the first migration of the homosapiens travelled across Africa to into Europe and then onto the Americas.

Having said that. The Big Floods referred too in Noah story was when the ice started to melt and the Black Sea was as we know it was flooded. This has been reinforced by facts recorded and captured in time by nature. Moreover the Sumer Religion recorded the survival of a man and his animals on a raft that God had told him to build. This is recorded in cuneiform clay tablets that have been scatted far and wide around the Golden Triangle of Mesopotamian. (Refer to the Gilgamesh poem)

Albeit, this is probably where the Noah Story was adopted from during the Sumerian times in history, well before the coming of the Habiru (Hebrew) tribes into notoriety of the founders and writers of the Old Testament..

Conclussion: Most of Australia stood out of the water during the Great Flood referred to in the Bible. Although it may have been two different islands as to speak in that sence. The Australian Aboriginees have been on this continet for more that 40,000 years with new scientific indications sugesting at least 70,000 years of existance between the three migration periods from the China basen.

If in doubt buy yourself a nice big boat and stock it well and become another Noah in time.

Real history often does repeat itself, albeit in evolved forms.
As the story of Noah is not real history ...

It already is. The "Days of Noah" does NOT refer to the flood, but rather, the days leading up to the flood. In the time period before Noah, society was very evil and enjoying all kinds of evil activities without care. Same thing for the time before Sodom. I think we're there now....

God said he'd never again flood the world. But most history outside of biblical history does repeat itself. Unless God said He would not do it.

Jesus said it would - so it will! I'm not talking about the flood; I'm talking about the marrying and giving in marriage and the violence and the mixed breeds.

No! God promised the world would not end in a flood again. This time it will end in a rainstorm of fire balls.

No.

Noah's flood would have actually have had to occur. It didn't.

Even if it did, I doubt a repeat show would happen.

A rainstorm of fireballs? Not a firestorm of rainballs?
