in business, i was very successful (owner operator) because i rapidly see the logical extension of various areas my contracts would need to address. this is not typical of contractors i come in contact with. they see the general picture but my vision is details like enviromental issues like the change will make flooding a problem on the property. (something typically that does not manifest for months to years after the work is done.)
many here claim to be well educated and that gives you a distinct edge with better skills to compete.
question, does your education/experience/knowledge directly benefit you in all areas of your livelyhood. does any of your skills boarder almost on some kind of spiritual discernment to overcome difficulties in your work. the idea of a tap of genius, if you will.

in my example above, i was able to write in contract additions that the client did not want to do, and when it was obvious it was needed, I was able to out bid other contractors before they were even called. this is the type of foreseeing or foreknowledge that i'm asking if any of you have and use

fa t i would think that i probably have a better graspe of scripture than you do, so would you like to elaberate on your comment. a text out of context, without context is not enlightening to those who read it.

I think my enhanced awareness of others and of all that is around me helps me in my profession. I am a much better leader now that I spend a good portion of my time on my own spirituality. I am more understanding of both my employees and of my clients. And I am more able to 'read' people so that I can discern the best way to help them do their job better.
Interesting question!

My experience is that in every position I’ve ever had, I lacked the proper education, my degree didn’t fulfill the requirement of the job and many people were more qualified…yet…when I was working I was always in a job above my education, above my degree level and was promoted faster than I expected. I worked for one of the largest corporations in the world, when I quit a number of years ago to stay home and raise my children everyone said what a fool I was for giving up my position…how funny…they lacked the ability to see how God could put me anywhere he wanted.
What do I do differently…I pray…not to be better… not to be more successful…I accept what God has put before me. If and when I decide to go back to work...God’s will be done….not my own. I’m thankful for the relationship I have with the Lord and that I can see how he works in my life.
God bless you,
Faith

I just say I was a network administrator, didn't I?

This know that in the last days perilous times shall come , for men shall be lovers of themselves , covetous ,
boasters , proud , blasphemers , disobedient to parents , unthankful , unholy , without natural affection ,
trucebreakers , false accusers , incontinent , fierce , despisers of those that are good , traitors , heady ,
high-minded , lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God , having a form of godliness but denying the power
of it ; from such turn away . For this of this sort are they who creep into houses and lead captive silly women
laden with sins , led away with various lusts , ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth

A particular knowledge or experience can be very useful in its corresponding situations in life; but nothing can be applicable to all fields. That is why, we keep on studying and learning things as much as we can, to broaden our minds, and help us to some things our old experiences have never able to help us with some situations we face in everyday life. Ex. If you're an Architect, ALL your knowledge on that field can't be used when you're assigned to baby sit.
!TAKE NOTE, "not all"...meaning, a part of it can still be of any help sometime.

I've always had to leave the changing of hearts and minds of people up to God. There is not a problem or fix that the Holy Spirit cannot see. I like how you worded it. A "tap of genius" is what we receive from God.

God gives everyone thier own special talents and gifts, we are unique, and if that gives us the oppourtunity to see more of the picture with peoples needs and concerns that we might have for them, that is good, as long as we put Gods gifts to good, and ahead of our own personal needs, we are serving The Lord.

destructive habit, almost impossible to provide up as quickly as you have began. BQ: it is form of a puppy peeve. i'm regularly somewhat pleased with myself once I be able to maintain a concept from falling out of my mouth, and it makes me think of they do no longer delight in my heroic restraint in any respect!

Knowledge is only useful if it inspires, equips or enables.
This is why schools just don't cut it for me.
Life is too precious for myopic studies.
