I was supposed to call the guy I like for homework help last week but I didn't. We set up another specific time for me to call Monday. I wasn't able to call him then either because I was both nervous and very sick, so I sent him a text message 20 min. after I was supposed to call asking if I could call the next day and what time was best.

He didn't text me back.

So, yesterday I left him this voicemail:

"Hey, I'm sorry I didn't call you yesterday I was sick most of the day and didn't get to do the reading I was planning to do before I called you. So, I know you're planning to go out of town the next three days but hopefully you'll be back at work over the weekend and I can catch up with you then. By then I should have finished most of the reading for the course and I'll have lots of questions for you. Talk to ya soon."

Do I Have a right to be mad because he hasn't texted or called back??

Or does he have a right to be pissed at me??

He kind of has a reason to be annoyed as you've let him down a couple of times now when he's trying to help you. I expect he's feeling a bit taken for granted.

You can't really make arrangements and then not follow through.

Give him some time and ask him out for a coffee and try to make things right - and if you get another chance - make sure you follow through. Hope that helps.

i dont think he has the right to be pissed at u at all ..u apologized twice plus u were sick and that must be enough .. u should expect a call or some explaination why he didnt reply on ur mesgs , but dont get angry cause u never know whats wrong with him..just wait and see

Jane if there is one thingI have learnt (the hard way) never jump to conclusions.... Wait till you talk to him. Then make up your mind. Don't let him see that it has bothered you this much that he has not got back to you. Play it cool and play the waiting game. If it takes him longer than a week to get back to you then he is not worth the hassle.
Good luck.

I don't think it's necessary to be angry at him. My guess is that he got the message and thought "Okay so I'll see her this weekend." Guys aren't typically as social as girls. I have a hunch he's not angry either.

I dont think you do, being nervous and sick means that you are scared/shy to see him. So you can't really blame the guy after you didn't pitch up.

You dont have to be angry if you don't know whats the reason, you must first try to find out the reason behind.

you feel that way coz you like him.

he has the right to be mad at you - but it's not that big a deal anyway; so if he is mad at you, i think he likes you back:)
