How can a woman say that another woman is pretty?

It's like me saying that a bloke is good looking, How can I judge? My misses often says when looking at the \tvshe a pretty girl and when I look I'm looking at a girl that I think is plain. How do women judge? I think that women have got no idea what female good looks really are. Do you?

Well, apparently she can because she does. Attractive is attractive and the gender isn't relevant. I can look at a woman, feel no sexual interest, and tell you whether or not I think she's pretty.

Even when I look at men, I may not feel sexual attraction for them, but I can tell you if I think they're good looking.

I suspect as women we are less inclined to be uncomfortable with saying another woman is attractive. Whereas, with men, there seems to be a concern that you'll be perceived as homosexual.

As to the difference in your opinions, that's just natural. Not every guy you ask is going to agree with your version of what's attractive either. If they did, you'd all be hot for the same 10 women. That could get a little weird.

I think it's not that women are more comfortable with their sexuality, as most women think. Ask them if they are a lesbian and you generally find that a whole image change happens over night. I think that it is socially acceptable for a woman to say that another woman is pretty but not for a man to say that another man is handsome. If I'm honest, me and my gf play this game alot on the t.v and then the other will give an opinion. I would never say so in front of male peers as they would instantly ask if I was gay, my gf on the other hand can as she knows her friends will all just give their opinion on whether that person is pretty. In context of the question, yes I know that women are a good judge of what is attractive.

Well it isn't that women have no idea what female good looks are, its that everyone has their own opinion on what good looking is. Women can look at another woman and say she is gorgeous because we are much more comfortable with our sexuality then most men. You cant say you've never seen a man and thought to your self he was nice looking, its only natural.

I'm not afraid to say if I think a certain woman is pretty, I'm no lesbian but I don't have an issue with saying if a woman looks nice, I know often or not most woman are rather bitchy but if a woman stands out and looks classy I wouldn't have an issue admitting they look great.

I've always known there to be two kinds of pretty - girl pretty and boy pretty.

Girl pretty is when a girl thinks another girl is pretty- some guys agree some don't

Boy pretty is when a bloke comments on another girl being pretty - normally they are pretty and everyone agrees!

Because women are more comfortable with their sexuality, I find blonde women very pretty, its not that I am attracted to them but they are just pretty

each to their own mate... one person will think a person is hot and you might think its butt ugly... beauty is in the eye of the beholder... someone might think your misses is ugly but im sure you dont think that... we can't please everyone... and yes us woman are funny at times..lol and i can say that cause im one of em lol... we see things differently to the normal male species and thats what makes the world go round

we look at different aspects of a female then what you men look at if you know what I mean. We look at personality, actions, things like that, were you men look at the boobs, butt, legs, lips.
