I am visiting New York next weekend and want to go and see a show on Broadway, however I heard a report last week that there was a strike and many of the shows were not running. Is this true and will it still be on next weekend?

Thanks

Yes it is GRRRR! I am SOO mad I am going to NYC DEC 2 -5 and was going to see Wicked! I am going to think positively and say I AM still going to see it. If not Ticket master better give money back!

The strike is still on, but that shouldn't stop you. Go see an off Broadway show. They are still showing.

Yep..they chose to strike to have more bargaining power during the Christmas holiday season...Shows are too expensive anyway.

So far, I have heard the strike over writers pay increases and residuals will continue until the writers get something for their work.
