Have you got a WOW store near you. They seem to be the cheapest at the moment with all the sales on, I was looking at their brochure that came out today.
http://www.wowwicked.com.au/ They have got some from $596 with $150 cashback upwards.

This can vary widely.
As a general rule prices go down, so simply being later means it will tend to be less. And there is a general buying/computer buying lull around February and March, so there tend to be some great deals to get rid of stock. Some of this is related to clearing end of tax year inventory, so if Aus tax year is different then this may be a bit..
But sometimes there are super deals before Christmas, especially if the buying season is a little slow.
So it's extremely hard to predict, once in a while external factors actually make the prices go up a bit. But as a general rule, yes it's usually better to wait for after if you can. Really for making money the low end systems tend to be around the same price, less doesn't make economic sense to even carry and sell them. But around Feb/Mar you tend to get a little more computer for the money spent..

I think it really depends on how much you want to spend but you can get some good specials right now of older (eg not high end just released products) systems because computer manufacturers try and release items in time for the Christmas period. I would recommend Dell and have bought products from them often without a problem. Have a browse and see what you like and then wait for a special price to come up. For example they were offering %40 off one of there high end notebooks which cost around $4000 usually. Shop around and don't pay retail!!!

this might selection surprisingly. As a typical rule costs bypass down, so effectively being later way it is going to have an inclination to be much less. and there's a typical procuring/pc procuring lull around February and March, so there have an inclination to be some incredible provides to get rid of inventory. a number of it relatively is with regards to clearing end of tax year inventory, so if Aus tax year is astonishing then it relatively is many times quite.. yet many times there are beautiful provides previous to Christmas, particularly if the procuring season is slightly sluggish. So it relatively is quite tough to predict, as quickly as in a whilst outdoors factors actually make the expenses bypass up quite. yet as a typical rule, specific it relatively is especially greater effective to watch for after in case you will. fairly for becoming wealth the low end procedures have an inclination to be around the equivalent fee, much less does not make financial experience to even positioned across and sell them. yet around Feb/Mar you have an inclination to get slightly greater pc for the money spent..
