You say you're in love with him & talk about marriage, but, from the way your question is written , he doesn't know that you love him & are'nt in a relationship? He has a 'fat salary'? You have to be in a relationship to love some body, otherwise it IS an infatuation.

Tell him whats wrong with it? I know its frowned upon in the western world but its best you tell him like this:
Hi I have to be open and honest about this because I might regret this later on but hear me out! I like you....as a matter of fact I love you. I know we are cousins and it might make you frown but I think we have so many things in common and we are also related. Please dont get offended or grossed out about this its just that I always found you so close to my heart and till now I have never found a person in my life like you.

if he is your first cousin i wouldnt tell him and id move on with my life ... your family may not be real thrilled with the two of you together ... secondly why did you find it neccesary to mention his fat salary ? are you sure its him you love and not the forbidden fruit or the fact that he has a job with a fat salary?

I was told today that when we fall in love we are actually falling in love with ourselves. Meaning that all the positive things that you see in your cousin are actually trates that you posses yourself. Don't go there with your cousin. Stop playing the thoughts in your mind. if you are truly love in love with him,just confess ur love with him.Love is blind.as for your question,i think you should be more direct.or if you are more shy,you can drop him a hint by maybe going out with him more,ask him for date or go for some romantic movie

If you are smart, you keep it to yourself , and avoid getting too close with him. If you have any respect for yourself or your family, you will leave him alone. That is not right, and he does not need to know how you feel. He may not even feel that way about you anyway. You may alienate him too!
