If she took the photo's, then really they belong to her. Try sitting down with her and explaining calmly that it was a private party, and you would like the photos to be private also. If she still decides to put them on her bebo page, there isn't too much you can do.
Personally, no, I dont think you're being unreasonable.

You have every right legally to refuse permission, I know legal issues don't come into it with your own sister but this is a matter of principle and privacy on your part.
I think it is wrong that so many people post things of this nature on the internet without the knowledge of its implications, these images although harmless could in some way be used against you or anyone else to cause harm or distress in the future by people far less scrupulous than all of us.
She should respect your wishes.

I don't think you're being unreasonable at all. If they're pictures of you then she should respect the fact that you don't want them on Bebo.
Incidentally, my kids go on Bebo, I always thought it was a kids/teens site.

I totally agree with you. I can't see the point of Bebo really. Why would you want to share your life with anyone who wants to log on. I really cant see it. Be adamant and tell your sister not to put up pics of you. If its her Bebo then let her do things of her. I agree with you.

Ask yourself what the problem is.. is it YOU u dont want pictures on Bebo of? if so, tel her she can put all the rest on, but not of u.
But, i do agree that, if you have asked her not to then she shouldnt.
If all else fails.. u can report her to Bebo & have them removed! I mean, she is not asking our permission to post pictures of you & that violates the rule.. so u could!

I think that you do need people's permission to put photos in the public domain.
Personally I would agree with you, that if a photo had me in it, I would not necessarily want it on someone else's page. So I think you have the right to say NO.

It's your decision, it's your party, not hers...take a stand and who cares if she thinks you're being uptight. If you don't want them there, then tell her so and make sure she doesn't post them.

It's your party and you'll cry if you want to. Not everyone wants to share their life with the whole world. She'll just have to deal with your decision.

understandable, but why such a big deal? She's obviously proud and wants to show off how much fun you had. Your call in the end though...you are in the photos.
