First of all I would like to say that I think those of us who consider ourselves Christians need to come up with clear cut answers to questions like these. We all know that these are the types of questions people ask especially non-Christians who want to know more about Christ and the Bible. I think we let potential Christians slip between our fingures simply because we don't care enough to make an effort to have ready answers for these very common questions.
Having said that and being one of the guilty, I can say this about the trinity. I don't have any verses where it says literally , "There is a trinity" in the Bible, but I think it works a lil bit like water. U can get water in 3 main forms namely ice, vapour and liquid. U can't use ice to bath, it needs to be turned into liquid first but the point is its still the same thing. U can't steam ur veggies with water in it's liquid form, it needs to turn to vapour first but it's still the same thing. Much in the same way, I think God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are one but do different jobs. For example God the Father couldn't come down to the sinful world the way Jesus did because he is Holy and cannot be where there is sin so he had to send God the Son in human form to do that. When Jesus' work was done on earth, it was time for God the Holy Spirit to do his part because he is the one that was left behind to live in our hearts.
I'm no expert or anything but I hope this helps.

Contrary to popular belief, once baptized, a Christian is free to pray to God the Father, and/or God the Son, and/or God the Holy Spirit, as he sees fit.
And even though each member of the Trinity is distinct in his divine personhood and his typical role, each is eternally united with the other in a very special way, so when you pray to one, you pray to all.
Always was. Is now. Always will be.
Just pray. God will do the rest.

The Bible does not support the trinity doctrine, which says God is composed of 3 co-equal, co-eternal persons. Such a teaching goes contrary to Jesus' words at John 17:3. There, he said: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the ONLY true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."
Since only the Father is the "only true God," all worship, including prayers, should be directed to him. For example, at John 4:23, 24, Jesus said that to worship with "spirit and truth," we have to give our worship to the Father ONLY. Why? Because as Jesus said at verse 23: "The Father (NOT the Father AND the Son AND the holy spirit) is looking for [the true worshipers] to worship him."
At Matt. 6:9, Jesus instructed his followers to pray to the Father ONLY. At Matt. 7:21, Jesus said that to get into the Kingdom, we must do the will of his Father, NOT the will of the Father AND the Son AND the holy spirit, as if they make one God.
The trinity doctrine has fooled millions of people into thinking that God is a combination of three co-equal divine beings or "persons." There is not one verse in the Bible that says that.

In John 15:16 I do believe the Bible says,(in red) whatsoever you ask the father, ask in my name and he (God) will do it. I don't have my Bible open at the moment to give you exact word for word but that's close.

There are "No Two", with unlimited aspects! It's like you are daughter to your mother, wife to your husband and mother to your child. Same person, but different aspects.
