Yes actually they are. The were previously being paid under minimum wage but a few elves got together and now they are union. A normal line worker gets about 15 dollars and hour. A line super gets 20 dollars and hour and section heads about 25. Anything above that goes salary and are no longer in the union. Moral is up on the north pole after the latest union meeting where now they have dental and rain deer related accidents are covered by insurance.

Minimum wage, but I hear there's talks brewing for a strike. Stock up on presents if you celebrate Christmas, or the kids won't have presents. Unless you buy them yourself, of course. :D
