If this is true, then why does God allow innocent parties to contract HIV and die of AIDS? (i.e. the faithful partners who contract HIV from a cheating partner, children who contract HIV in the womb).
If HIV/AIDS is a punishment for Homosexuality and fornication as some of you say, then why allow a faithful partner or unborn baby to be infected by it?

I believe that bad things sometimes happen to good people. I don't believe that AIDS is a punishment from God anymore than cancer or diabetes are. Yes, sometimes people make risky choices and there are consequences. I make risky choices sometimes and have to deal with consequences, but I have compassion for those with HIV and would NEVER judge them by saying that they deserved what they got. That is a horrible and inhumane thing to do.

This is ridiculous as HIV/AIDS are man-made diseases so they cannot have been made by God.

Why target the homosexuals only, if this is what these _ _ _ _ _ _ _ believe?

why not the murderers? paedophiles? teenagers? cheating husbands/wives?

It makes no sense!

Homosexuals are born that way. I only wonder how these people would feel if homosexuality was "the norm" and heterosexuals were thought of in this way. They should put themselves in the shoes of another and see that they are just ordinary people too.

We have no right to judge others here on earth, God is the only person who can judge, and by judging homosexuals in this way, these religions are being blasphemous as they are playing God.

If God had not wanted homosexuals in this world, he would have killed them in the womb or shortly after birth. After all, He is the only one with the right to give and take life so perhaps this isn't going against His plans at all!

Your question has its own answer. Why will god bother to do all this. We are destroying ourselves. If God created HIV, as you say why will an innocent suffer from the same. God has got nothing to do with this, though he does not play dice with the Creation. And another thing, with the increase of HIV, a single parent is also increasing balancing the factors. remember there is always a balance between Creation and dissolution. Negative factors are always balanced. God is the greatest equilibrium maker.

Check out the story of King David and Bathsheeba, After David realised that he had sinned against God he cried out to God to have mercy on the child Bathsheeba was carrying, but God did not let that child live even though He had forgiven David.

What you need to realise is that sin does not just affect the parties involved, it affects all those around. Take divorce as an example, it's not only the spouses that are hurt but the children aunties, uncles, grandparents, friends etc.

There's no doubt about it, man has caused the problems that he has now, abortions are on the increase, sex is advertised without any care to our young children etc, there's so much lawlessness and God will not just sit by and let us sail through life without us facing the consequences of our own actions when we clearly disobey His word.

The bible says that the wages of sin are death.

Well, after re-reading your question I re-assure you that your
question is wrong .. I'm sorry .
The virus had not been INVENTED for killing... the virus has been there for millions of years ..... like all other dangerous
viruses ..... for the purpose of WARNING and SAVING human
beings! Show me HIV positive animals dying of AIDS !

The right question is : Who " invented " homosexuality ?
Ask a Buddhist , if you disagree with Christian&Muslim's Claim!
The first MAN who violated the CONTRACT, is responsible for all further contractors!!
"R" , Re-read it please! The first MAN who breached the
divine CONTRACT for heterosexuality ...(Multiply...!)fo He is
RESPONSIBLE for the whole tragedy !

HIV is a virus not to kill off homosexuals. I think thats a sick view and any Christian or anyone really who thinks that should be decapitated and pissed on. Or maybe they themselves should ge HIV to teach them an important lesson, that on eath we are all humans and we are all people and each should be respected no matter what they believe or no matter their lifestyle choice.

I am a muslim and islam is against homosexuality like all other religions, but saying god invented aids to kill homosexuals is bullshit, nowhere in our religious scriptures does it say that.

No one alive today is innocent first of all.
WE are all born sinners.
You have to understand that God weeps with you in the fact that Man-kind has made a HUGE mess of this thing we have here called earth. Man-kind has problems created by Man.
I however do not believe that God invented AIDS as a form of punishment.
However you look at this question there is no right answer. Just opinions. I can tell you with all the sincerity in my heart that God doesn't want this affliction on us anymore than we do.

I don't happen to be one of those who claim that God 'invented' these diseases for that purpose, however I do say......If you plan to play the game, count on paying the price. Sometimes that includes hurting those that you love.

That would be a tough thing to live with, wouldn't it?
