I am not trying to offend anyone and I'm sure I'm not crazy, but I saw a strange thing in the night sky tonight. I saw the outline of a glowing Virgin Mary. It was only there for a few seconds and it was gone. What does it mean?

If it was a miracle, it means only as much as you make of it. No one here will get anything from it. If only you believe it, take it as a gift for you alone and don't share, some of the atheists seem to get jealous (j/k).

This is just a thought on your question. It's certainly not a professional opinion of any kind.
If you're in the U.S. we just had the Leonid Meteor showers. The peak of those showers was last Saturday night. The meteors will, however, continue to fall for a night or 2 before and after the peak times.
Perhaps what you saw was several meteors dropping at the same time in different angles. It would be sort of like picking shapes out of clouds on a nice day. :)
Or, I suppose it's possible that a local church was holding some sort of revival and used lights or lazers to project an image into the sky.
Just a couple ideas for ya :)

Mary is currently appearing at Medjugorje. It is quite possible she appeared to you. All non-Catholics refuse to believe in the Apparitions of Mary over the last 1000 years.To them Mary was just a vessel for the birth of Jesus,. is a sinner, has no powers, cannot be prayed to, etc. Plus the say the Catholic Religion is a pagan one ,controlled by the devil.They believe anything they read ridiculing the Catholic Faith. Have a look at the majority of answers, and you can see what i mean.

lot of things have happened since the Bible was written. God can do what he likes .He does not require your permission! I think Satan may be messing with your mind.He is very strong now.He likes to devour people who live by every word of the Bible ,which is ridiculous.Mary has been sent by God to give us her messages.She has been appearing during the last 1,000 years.Jesus has appeared also to select people. He appeared to Sr. Kowalska in 1931 with a message for all mankind.

Where is the emphasis on Jesus?
If there is none, then whatever you saw is NOT FROM GOD.
