The US & the Chinese have to take most of the responsibility. Mainly because they choose not to do much about it given the huge amount of power and influence they have over the rest of the world. but at the end of the day, it is us, the little people that can make a difference. If we stopped being so greedy maybe the emmissions would be slowed down.
Governments are making minimal changes, they like to seem like they are but at the end of the day they can only see the future at a short term level and money seems to take precedent.
And about doomsday.. we've had many of them predicted before, but reality is that the way we are going, we are definetly shortening the survival of this earth.

Global warming happened due to green house gas emissions. Developed countries were more responsible for this. The natural green house gases such as co2 and moisture maintained the global temp to a habitable level. The man-made green h. gases such as CO, Nox, Sox etc.. are the products of the great industrial revolution in the late 1800's as well as the rampant industrial activism in the later decade till the world war. The damage was already committed by then. Since then the level is increasing at a faster rate.
The best thing tht can happen now is ratify Kyoto protocol by US and be a role model 2 other nations in reducing green house gas emissions. First practice be4 preaching.

WHO is the biggest cause? World Health Organization? I guess i can agree with that. But if they are the worst then the SUN is a very close second.
I hope 2012 is the point of no return because maybe people will see the global warming cult for the farce that it is.

movie stars, fictional writers that are so called journalists and shady politicians. its all about the money.
doomsday, how many times has that word being thrown around. Its in the movies and fictional books. Now, its a word to describe a questionable event, like global warming. remember 1999, when the world was going to be doom due to the year 2000(from computers to religion). it was one of the biggest money making scheme in human history.

yes i do,not until the us elects a president that understand the issues and has seen first had whats already been happening,the arrtic ice melting temps rising to records,droughts no dought it has already started if al core would rui would vote for him just on the global warming issue,no doomsday is 4 years from now taking 3 hundred years the effects are already happening unless people change gonna get worse,car pooling,taking buses,acually nasa is just as bad every time the shuttle goes up all the fuel ect that left in the air....

It is mankind. We are the biggest cause of global warming. If we don;t do anything about it know, the it willl be no more time to fix it. Andmaybe it will be 2012 the last days. Who knows.

The government have lots of ideas, most of which seem to be to charge the general public for a variety of activities which might affect global warning. What they will do with this money is unclear. One thing is certain, if really drastic measures are required they won't have the b*lls to introduce them in case they lose the next election.
