For Heaven's sake, Jesus Christ and God are not one in the same! Get it through your skulls, people!
Jesus was born from Mary and Joseph. Mary became pregnant without ever having intercourse with Joseph (or so claimed, as having sex before marriage in those days was punishable by death and/or you were considered a prostitute). Therefore, after supposedly never having sex with Joseph, Jesus was born, and dubbed the son of the VIRGIN MARY, birth mother of the SON of GOD!
This, of course, was all a hoax. Mary and Joseph had sex, she hid it from the world she lived in fearing she would be looked upon as a prostitute, filling her sons head with lies about never having a father other than God himself. Jesus, Mary and Josephs only son, was eventually outcast and yadda yadda yadda you all know the story from there.
This of course is my own belief... the choice is ultimately yours.

My own belief was that Mary and Joseph did, indeed, have sex... not the difference between Jesus Christ and God.
I am not bashing Christianity. I never said anything bad about it. I believe Jesus Christ existed... I believe that many people back then were gullible enough to believe that Mary and Joseph never had sex. Old testament: Jesus is the Son of God. New testament: Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are one in the same. Do we believe in the lesser diluted version, or the warped and diluted new version?

And I never attacked anyone. If what I wrote seemed like I was attacking the Christian religion, I do apologize.
I was merely stating that people get confused as to what's what with the religion anymore. It's not practiced like it used to be and it surely isn't taught like it used to be.

If it's not said that Jesus and God are not one in the same, I dare say I'm not the only one that thinks they aren't. Even religious Christian followers seem to think they are not one in the same... are they wrong? Or just misinformed?

Well you're right about one thing - God and Jesus are NOT the same.
Jesus was born to the VIRGIN Mary. Virgin meaning someone who has never has intercourse. Joseph is NOT the father of Jesus. Jesus has NO father, just like Adam. (Peace be upon them).
"Mary said: "How can I have a son, O Lord, when no man has touched me?" He said: "That is how God creates what He wills. When He decrees a thing, He says 'BE!' and it is. And He will teach him [Jesus] the Law and the judgment, and the Torah and the Gospel." (Quran 3:35-48]

The whole immaculate conception thing is a little fishy...but none-the-less, open your mind.
Many religions believe in the trinity. The idea is that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all various forms of the same God.
Just like light is both a particle and wave at the same time... God can be all three at the same time.
What do I care though...I'm just an agnostic.

Right..God and Jesus are not one...but it isnt anyones job to try and force others to believe,we all have our own freedom to believe as we like. Trying to force it will only cause one to go the oposite of what you wish they believed..thats just how it goes...allow people to find what they believe in on their own...of course you can share with those who would like to listen but in a kind way its a lot more affective then attacking someone.

Wait, you said you "know the difference between Jesus Christ and God" Then you conclude with "This of course is my own belief".
In rhetoric 101, that is known as "weasel wording"and also "waffling".
You need to learn the difference between truth and fact.

The Trinity is a mystery. That is why it is hard to understand.God's ways are not man's ways. God the Father,God the Son,and God the Holy Spirit are the three divine Persons in the one God,equal in majesty, undivided in splendour. Each is fully God,and each is inextricably connected to each other,This is Catholic doctrine.

Study history of Christianity properly. Who is Joseph? Was he added later?
There are many truths and myths in Christianity and followers are prohibited from questioning them. If any body wanted to understand the truth only about Christianity let them study Holy Qur-an un biased. Certainly the present available virgin book of God explains what is what about Christianity and Judism very clearly. Please read it at least once in life of every body

John 8:42-47 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God, neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

And, of course, you "know" that your opinion is factual and the absolute truth....because? All the eye witness accounts, the miracles of Jesus, and the fulfilled prophesies don't count?
Thanks for giving us a "choice". I choose Jesus.
