I fully understand your need for acceptance, s'pecially from your mum!! But i am inclined to think that it is her problem for acceptance and not yours. Lets say, as an example, that you are hugely overweight but extremely successfull? Lets imagine that you weigh a ton, but, you are a succesfull lawyer, doctor, whatever, you have a hundred friends and are about to be engaged any day now. These things are likely to be available to you. If you feel that they aren't, its because of the way you have been brought up. Honestly, a fat person may not be as attractive as a skinny person, but they can easily be just as, or more even, succesfull than anyone else, these days being successfull is a huge turn on to the opposite sex, it exudes confidence and taking charge of life, this is a major attraction in later life for people who are ready to settle down.

she is your mum and she will always love you no matter what. all mums would surely love their own child. its maybe because you are overweight and she does not know how to show her love to you. try to talk to her and let her know how you feel. i think if you really want the best answer to cure yourself, you should talk to your mum. well what can i said she's your mum, and she will always love you. just talk to her. what can i said we are all humans... right.... be strong and stop thinking about it because you will fell even more desperate.... take care...

I'm sure she loves you JUST as much.
If you think it's about you being overweight, try to pick up some gym classes, to show her you want to change it.

I know what you mean, but she does love you. Just because it seems like she cares more about them than you, it doesn't make it true. Talk to her and tell her how you feel.
No matter what, just remember that your mom is far better than mine:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApJ653kr7.2PIiv5NbkqmEi_7BR.;_ylv=3?qid=20071121000616AAMauYQ

Just forget her. Don't think about it and try to just have fun and enjoy life. Her love isn't that important.

she should love you no matter what. she's your mom and her love should be unconditional. It's a problem with her and not your fault.
