When I read this I just naturally assumed this bigot would get slammed by everyone but then most people went on and supported him/her?

I dont judge any of you by this person or by the people that answered and supported this, but does it bug you at all at how many people agreed with it and didnt condemn it?

If you agree that christians can be hyppocrites, that is one thing. Yeah they can be, so can everyone, but the vitriolic hatred spewing out of this post is so over the top. Does the ends justify the means when it comes to asking a question? If you agree with the premise, cant you still condemn the question?

I have straight out said that I dont believe all gays were evil or that all muslims are terrorists and do try to counter religious extremists rude behavior, too.

Making a point by calling a whole group of people worse than murderers deserves to be condemned even if you agree with the premise of the question.

I dont disagree with the fact that a lot of christians are hyppocrites. But there is suppose to be a line you arent suppose to cross when it comes to hate speech on here, I thought. I rarely report anyone.

I didn't see this question before. I know I would not have answerd yes as blank check.

There are good Christians also in the world. I find some Christians are softer towards Muslims than Jews and Hindus for what ever reasons. God says in Quran to Prophet Mohammad some thing like this that Chrisians will be softer and closer to Muslims than Jews will ever be.

As you agree yourself, there are lots of words of this woman that fit on lots of Christians. Bu I wouldn't generalize for all Christians. You see how hateful words they write about Islam, about Allah though he is the only God there is, and call every Muslim a terrorist though Christians have killed more human on this planet than followers of any other religion.

It's a blanket hate statement. It's no more true than if the poster said the same thing about any other group of people, which is why it's ridiculous and insulting. Blanket statements always are.

Of course, I'm Christian, so you probably didn't want my answer.

ETA: Arianna - I'm very sorry to hear that you've been hurt by Christians, or anyone for that matter. There are good Christians out there, and I hope you have the opportunity to meet some someday. I don't agree with your statement, not because I don't believe there are Judgemental Christians out there, I know for a fact there are. I disagree because you said 'All Christians' and that kind of generalizing comes off as bigotted.

I think you were out of line for reporting her. She doesn't have to agree with you and she is entitled to her opinion.

I'm a non christian, but my family is christian and I have some christian friends but for the most part, I'd rather not associate with christians. There seems to be a lot of ignorance among them, and many of them don't give a damn about you unless you belong to their church.

Also, the next christian who asks me why I worship the devil when they find out I'm not christian is going to get vomited on.

I seriously think you should consider the source here. I mean the girl who asked the original question thinks OJ Simpson has a good heart. I think I would have stopped interest in the question right there.

Furthermore, since I've been on this site I've come to realize that alot of people don't believe in God, Jesus and/or Christianity and these types of questions are perfect for them to expand on their beliefs.

Not really, even Jesus said that hypocrits were huge in the church. Even though the lady went on a large rant about it, all she did was state the same thing, and others agreed with her.

Some people that go to church are very fine people, but the cruelest people I have ever met in my life would be in the pews ever Sunday, whereas the kindest I have ever met, do not attend any services at all.

I ignored that question because it was too generalizing for my taste.

I do however see what she means, and up to a certain level I agree with her. And I don't say this with a smile on my mouth, btw. It is truly sad that I almost have to agree with her.

It doesn't bother me because that person is ignorant....OJ simpson has a heart...He is a criminal I don't really get her point. That being said, I don't really care what people say..I feel I'm a sweet nice intelligent person and I call myself a christian. I don't believe in religion I believe in God, I guess she is trying to say that Ubber religious people look down on others and try to make you feel bad about things but those arent true christians anyway.
