Yep, you can date. No, it is not against policy. You have to be an officer or an NCO in his chain of command for it to be against policy but since you are in different branches and both are enlisted and not NCOs, you guys are safe.

Yes you can. You are both junior enlisted but you better look at the whole picture before jumping into marriage. What are the chances of you two being stationed anywhere near each other? Since this the first enlistment for both of you the Navy and the Marines do NOT have to and probably will not co-locate you. That means that guys will not be stationed near each other for the rest of your first enlistment unless you already are and if one of you moves the other one will not be moved to join them. Just make sure you think about these things before you guys rip each others hearts out by being stationed across the world from each other.

I married a E-3 in the Air Force and I was a E-4 in the Marines, kinda hard being in different branches but it worked out! Should be ok!

Any enlisted personnel can date any other enlisted personnel as long as one is not in the chain of command of the other. An E-9 could legally date an E-1 that does not fall under their chain of command (not a good idea for that case but legal.) Enlisted personnel and officers cannot date each other. To sum it up quickly, you two are perfectly OK. Good luck to you both.

It's not against policy that I know of. Different chain of commands and all. As long as the petty officer is not a supervisor of the marine, it should be good.

Yes, that's perfectly legal...as long as you are female at least. lol You are both enlisted and neither of you are (or will likely be) in the other's chain of command. Have fun!

Yep you sure can...there is no conflict there...plus both of you are pretty low ranking...it's not like one of you is the supervisor of the other....or something like that....
