Its called a three bird roast. To make it is quite difficult as you have to bone out the birds before you place one on top of the other with stuffing in between and then close up the turkey by sewing it back together.

You can do this with upto 9 birds starting with a quail and ending up with a very big turkey but that will feed 30-40 people.

As this is really fiddly I would ask your butcher to do it.

Look in medieval recipes. I think the smallest one is a pidgeon or a quail. I am sure there are some specialist places which sell them ready tocook. Good luck.

yes it is called a 3 ,4,5,6,7,8,or 9 ird roast. I can supply this for you. A three bird roast will be about £95 going upto about £225 for a nine bird.

A good butcher would do this for you, but it won't be cheap!
