Of all the things that can be known in our state of existence, the vast majority of us who live a full life will receive about

0.0000000001% of that knowledge? If we're lucky and very bright, some of us may learn about 0.0000000002% of what's out there. Of course, there's no way to get a TRUE figure on this, so the percentage points are probably LOWER!

Mind boggling, isn't it?

Far less than that, I'm afraid. You know, right now somebody just got murdered. And somebody else just hung himself. I don't want to know everything, I just want to know what's important.

Your calulations are so off. I feel that you do not get out much. We live in a world where we witness a seed within itself. The cycle of life is somewhat the same in all forms of life. To reproduce life, it remains that a male and female must be as one. Likewise for animals. Patterns of behavior have been realized in both humans and animals. Over the years, we have and continue to study existence. I feel we know more about existence because we are existing ourselves.

Individually, our accumulated knowledge isn't much but collectively it is a lot better. And the human race is one single entity. Ideas are like...viruses, (sorry, couldn't think of a better analogy) they spread quickly to every corner of the globe.

I agree. That's why those who do claim to have some preferred absolute "truth" scare me. In a world with so much to know, faith just gets in the way.

Yeah, it's mind-boggling alright.

Yes - and the fact that so many people think we know almost everything really disturbs me. People have no concept of how much we don't know yet.
