Ok, I will be having to stay at the hospital all day tomorrow and there calling for some stormy weather with some isolated tornadoes. I just wanted to know if ill be safe in the hospital? Just curious, please don't think this is a weird question. Also if you want to know I do think it haves a basement of some type. Maybe share some thoughts? Please no guesses. Thanks alot! =)

I'm a certified weather spotter. Yes, you will be safe in the hospital should there be a tornado. If power or communications go out, there are means of emergency communications and most hospitals have an emergency generator to power the place till everything is back up.

Only thing ya gotta worry about is the dead folks in the hospital morgue thawing out...it gets darned nasty!

hi, im a nurse and i would say yes. staying in the hospital is alright. you got emergency generator, hospital staff to take care of you also. just follow every instruction given so as not to give extra problem and to coordinate with the safety rules.=) do not go to isolated places also or hazardous so as not to contaminate yourself and others. if you have any illness inform the staff so as to give you a remedy=)

You will be alright. Just pay attention to the hospital staff. And do as you are told.
