This is what I have heard many times over.

There are so many people who would like to emigrate to another country. This is because the pasture seems greener the other side. However, the reality is otherwise. Usually life is hard and tough and many people regretted emigrating. Some are even cheated.

However, is emigrating to another country really so bad? Surely the country emigrated to can't be all that bad. If one can adapt accordingly, wouldn't it be acceptable? If you have a perfect job experience, enough capital and contacts, can it be all that bad? Can USA be all that bad? For that matter, Canada or the UK? Or is Australia really awful for immigrants?

Is emigrating to another country all that bad?

If you have researched the country and understand its customs and way of life and most importantly the language, and you have the necessary skills to be successful in the country you should not get cheated, but it is always hard moving to a new place and getting used to new things and making new friends. If you already had the ambition and guts to fulfill the dream of moving to a new country; it should be a great experience but still a challenge at first.

If the US is all that bad why are millions of people beating on our doors for entry? I was in Vancover Canada a few years back and talking to some college students about their future when they graduated from college. they said that as soon as they graduated from college they were heading to the US to make a real salary. Illegals Mexicans are ruining America but there is much room for skilled immigrants.

I've emigrated to roughly 13 countries, sometimes it's better, sometime's it's worse, usually though, it's just different. The grass isn't greener, it's just different grass.

I know a lot of people who have emigrated either to or from the US. None of them have regretted the decision.

It's only bad if you hate being where you are.
