That is a major step forward....In many ways, that option would have never been explored if people had not raised ethical concerns...Bravo for science...

Most people never ever had a problem with stem cell research. What they had the problem with was using aborted embryos or possibly viable embryos for research.
The left has done a GREAT job of twisting this issue to make it seem like the "religious right" doesnt want the research at all. But that just isnt true.
There are miscarriages everyday in this country. There is no reason why they cant use stem cells from donated miscarried embryos and fetuses. It would be no different than organ donation.
I just dont want to see life created for the sole purpose of doing scientific research on it.

Most people have never had a problem with stem cell research, only with embryonic stem cell research.
Stem cell research has been government-funded since it was discovered...I'm all for it.
And ironically enough, I asked a question about this last night. LOL.

This is exciting! Maybe now stem cell researchers can actually work towards their exaggerated claims!
I know that sounded sarcastic, but in all seriousness, it's great news. I hope no one thinks of another reason to forbid it.
