I need some ideas for my college photography class. There was no prompt, it can be anything we want. Which leaves me clueless. Any ideas?

It's difficult to go from other people's ideas. My suggestion would be to take a walk or a drive. Or several. Take your camera along. Something might inspire you. When I was in college, I was getting into portraits, so I'd dress up my friends and take pictures of them.

What do you do when you have fun? I would take pictures of that. I have seen real cool shots of people danging in a night club, doing a sport. Just sitting in them park or mall people watching. We had to walk over a large bridge as a assignment and take pictures. Take pictures from the tallest building in your town. Or lay down on the ground shooting up. Run down buildings and objects can be very thought provoking.

Every where you look there is a photograph waiting to be taken. You simply have to learn to see them.

A series of the letter "Z".

A series taken an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset.

A series of the local shopping district taken from 6am to 9pm - a photo every hour.

Use ISO 3200 film and shoot night scenes. Process to emphasize the grainy, gritty texture. Try some of people too.
