If so, how did you move on..?

Well, it was worse than cheating. My girlfriend eloped and married my roommate. Does that qualify me? They had two children together.

It was the best thing that could ever happened to me. You will never move on as long as you emotionalize it. You have to function totally from a mental stance. Emotions or feelings are immature. Make the decision to move on, and do not base it on how you feel for the other person.

It was a little harder for me because I am a pleaser. I lived to please everyone.

My first boyfriend cheated on me... I was 17 years old and we dated for 7 months... in high school that's a while...lol ....
But I drove to the store to buy some pop and found him holding hands walking around with another girl... my sister followed them around and told me that they kissed....
I was heart broken but the best way for me to move on was to tell him off!!! Then keep myself busy... If you're busy you won't have time to think about how much you hurt, you won't have time to call them, hang out with them, or reconcile....
I'm so glad it worked... 6 months later I started dating my best friend... We've been happily happily married for over a year now...

Yes....... once I found out and I just dumped his sorry azz, told him all that he deserved and then notified the other woman about the relationship he had with me....... fortunately we had only dated for 3-4 months and it wasn't so painful. I was more angry than devastated or depressed, I moved on pretty quickly. Then I started dating another moron whom I also stayed with for 2-3 months, and he cheated on me but I never knew that until 3-4 yrs later...!!!!!!! I didn't care about him anyway so I was just mad not to have found out earlier to dump his sorry azz as well....... things just got cold between us and we parted our ways without me knowing about his infidelity. I wouldn't have cried over it had I known it earlier, anyway, but my pride was certainly hurt.

Yeah, my first girlfriend, and then another one, and then my wife. I can really pick 'em, huh? You just have to move on, it's very painful but just keep the faith and finally you will find a good one. I did, but it took quite a while. Good luck.

my boyfriend of 3 years cheated on me with my friend...honestly i never completely got over it, but time does make it a lot easier to deal with. my best advice would be to find other people/things to focus your time on.

Yes, it was very painful. The worst part was that it was my first true love. The man I will remember forever, even though he does not deserve it.
