I just had a neuropsychological eval for possible brain damage. I've never had a test like that that took 5 hours. I started getting a headache during the spatial testing. Then I started getting dizzy and felt weird and spacey the rest of the day. Is this normal? Why did I feel this way after the test? I normal don't feel weird like that.

On the way home I felt really spacey and next thing I know I am falling up the steps. What did those tests do to my brain??

Please only answer if you are a medical specialist or an experienced patient. Thanks.

The dizziness you experienced was most likely due to the fatigue associated with having to pay attention for 5 hrs, trying to do your best. That is a grueling amount of time.
I recently was a witness and gave a deposition for 6 hours, and I experienced the same thing as you.
When I tested my patients, I never went over 3 hours. Ask the neuropsychologist if you can have a shorter session next time. Not even college classes go over 3 hours.
