Get rid of owner points. I understand why it was created, but it's long out lived it's purpose. Now it's misused and should be eliminated.
Past Champions provisional should only be allowed once a month, and not in back to back races, and not at all at the Daytona 500 or at Indy. Make teams earn their way in by speed.
Crews that cheat like the 48 team has been caught at, should be penalized no less than 200 points, and the crew chief should be suspended for the entire season. What nascar did to the crew chiefs of the 48 & 24 team was a slap on the wrist.
Finally, get rid of the chase system! Nascar really screwed Jeff Gordon out of his 5th championship this season.

I don't have enough room to put it all here but here's a few:
1- dump top 35 owners pts (fastest boys make the race)
2- No lucky dog
3- Dump this chase format
4- Bring back "The Rock"
5- Bring Southern 500 back to Darlington labor day weekend (its a Nascar tradition people in Cali rather be on the beach)
6- Limit # of cup guys in Nationwide series.
7- No restrictor plates, or do something with them, The COT is suppose to be a safer car, so why do we need them.
8- Bring Old School back in Nascar
9- Some tracks get only 1 race a yr, (who needs 2 at pocono)
10-Send Brian France on a permanent vacation..
11- Limit past champion provisionals
12- Stiffer penalities for cheating...( I like papa bills idea)
13- Can we just please get rid of Rusty, Brad, Susie in the booth..
Yep, thats a long list....But then I'm old school, I remember when Fords were Fords, Chevy's were Chevy's...

- No more top 35.
- Bigger points penalties for cheating when its obvious it was done to improve the car (playing with the fenders after NASCAR says don't touch them).
- Dump a few cookie cutter tracks for some short tracks or something unique.
- 400 mile races or less. Except the Daytona 500 and Coca Cola 600. Try to get them to 3-4 hour races.
- Can we get some side by side commercials? IRL does it. I don't want to watch 5 minutes of commercials every 15 laps.
- Take the Southern 500 away from Cali. They didn't sell out 1 race a year and somehow got a 2nd?
I like the ideas for the Nationwide Series PAPABILL has.

Go back to the Old Points system.--Drivers qualify in on speed instead of locked positions for the top 35. No more than 2 cars per team. Bring back some of the Old tracks like Rockingham & North Wilkesboro.
Have Nascar when signing the Broadcast Contracts to make the Network have less Commercials and have Better Announcers!!!!!

- Top 35 rule. Keep it to a degree, but instead of Top 35, make it Top 20 or so. If you want to be guarenteed a spot in the field, show it, dont just run well once every 3 weeks, and luck out, show me something by having some consistency.
- 1 Race for 1 Track. I know some tracks that are popular would get affected, but if NASCAR wants to expand further, and race on a variety of tracks. With the schedule now, in order to expand the schedule, races have to be taken away from other tracks. If you have 30 or so races at 30 tracks, im sure you can get a nice variety of races, and even be able to race in Mexico and Canada.
- Have the field fit the track. Im sure 50 or so race cars can race at Talladega or Daytona, the smaller tracks can race 43 still

Get back to racing. No top 35, because the sponsors want it.
No lucky dog, the caution lights and scoring loops will take care of the safety issues!
Make the rules so that all cars are equal in horsepower! Just like the areo package!!
I don't like that, but Nascar has forced this rule thing!
Most wins gets the Cup! Winning is all that matters, Give them $5.00 for every finish after first. Consistency doesn't matter as much as winning. 2nd is the first loser!!!
People will not agree with me, but wouldn't it make for some good racin?
Yes, I meant $5.00! Only use 2nd place finishes if there is a tie in the number of wins at the end of the year!!!

I would like to see consistant enforment of the rule book, or rather the "actions detrimental to stock car racing" rule since that seems to be all the book is made of, lol! I would also like to see stricter enforment of penalities for cheating including driver penalties (loss of chase points, and for repeat offenders even "benching" the car for a race), crew chief penalites that included NO communication with the team while on suspension. There are more, but since I'm sure I've already angered enough people I'll stop...for now ;-)

Now that the Car of Tomorrow is now the Car of Today, then we should have races that include the Car of Yesterday and sell them as "Nascar Classic" Kinda like Coke Classic. Some things just never go outta style.
And maybe a return to some good old fashioned "dukein' it out behind the garage" sessions when somebody gets dumped into the wall in turn 4.
Go 88!!!!!!
