In a lot of ways, girls mature faster than boys, so older guys often seem more appealing. They also seem more dangerous, which may explain why you turned the college boy down in spite of yourself.

In general, however, until the younger partner is at least 20, dating should be between people who are fairly close in age, because they have more in common. Older guys who always seem to be dating high school girls are usually guys who have not adjusted well to growing up, or worse, guys who want to control.

So don't get too boxed in by the allure of older guys. Meanwhile, enjoy the flirting that's going on at your new job, because that's where your worlds intersect.

I met my wife thru her cousins. We met in Jan, engaged in March, and married in June of 2006.
For months her cousins would try and fix us up bet it never amounted to anything. One day we drove to the mall where she worked so we could meet in person. I could not believe my eyes when I saw who she was. This was a girl I first saw walking down the street I live on. I thought she was really hot when she passed by my house. I wanted to talk to her but I couldn't get up the nerve.
We learned early on that we had an age difference. She was 22 when we met while I was 44. We passed the one year mark and still going strong. For our situation age played no roll in falling in love with one another.
My wife when she was 13 yrs old she dated and later moved in with a guy who was 26 yrs old. If you ask me thats a bit much but who are we to say.

When I was in school I had a gf younger than me. She was in 5th grade while I was a freshman. I took a lot of bashing and picked on because of our age diffrence. There are age differences that based on society is taboo and we can't cross those lines.

I see nothing wrong with age differences. As for your situation take it cautiously and make sure there is no company policy about dating fellow employees. It could cost you your job if there is.

well guys ((18 - 21)) usually just want a piece of *** from a younger girl cause the older ones sometimes wont. if you are just in jr. high then stay away from them .. you are JAIL BAIT! its fine to just talk to them or whatever but i wouldnt go further than that. thats fine to like older guys, it just depends on your age. i am 18 and have a bf whos 29.. im 18 though. perfectly legeal (or however you spell it). but anyway, your decision, just be careful about what youre doing.

Any 18-21 year old who looks at you, a child, as a girlfriend, is a pedophile.

i don't think its bad. Its a free country right. Follow what you think is right. My aunt is like 40 and my uncle is like 50. My mom was like 20 and my dad was 38 when they married. If you attract older men, and older men attract you, then why not. Don't miss your chance. Although, you still have a long way to go. I hope this helps!
