I mean if a man in Africa has been raised in a secluded tribe his whole life, and only has his peoples beliefs to go on; will God punish him when it's his time?
I mean no disrespect or anything like that. I am just really curious.

Yep. The Christian God is like that. But still, who cares what happens to a bunch of people in Uganda?

No I don't belive so.

Everyone has a God - consciousness, and an awareness of the spirit realm. A study of indigenous tribes shows that.

God says in His Word:
"But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul." Deuteronomy 4:29

"The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

Your question is very deep and it is on a subject that few people research or dwell upon, but there is an answer, and it is based on 1 Peter 3:19 which tells us that during the three days following His death (and ending with His resurrection), Christ preached to the souls in the "prison" which ancient texts call Sheol (I believe this is part of the argument for purgatory). This is not the final damnation that awaits those who reject Him, but is more of a "holding place" for those who died before He came and for those who never heard His Gospel. It is a place outside of time and space so for that time period, He ministered to all the people (past and future) for all time who died without receiving His message. They will all understand Him regardless of language or age.
If a person died before Christ came, or if a person lived and died without hearing the Gospel, then that person will have one last chance and be ministered unto by Christ, Himself.
On the other hand, if you did receive the Gospel and rejected it, you won't get that last chance.
If you received Christ, your soul will be carried to heaven the instant of your death.
I hope that this helps. Your question was a good one and I am thankful for a chance to explain for you and others who may have the same question.

God is a very jealous God. But also a very forgiving and compassion God. And once you have heard about Him you need to at least study His word and Pray.Ask Him for wisdom and understanding.

We have several African Christians that go to my Church, they are always smiling. Some are from Sudan, Uganda & a few from different regions.

God is a merciful God, and if this person has not heard of Christ he would be punished. I think if anything, God would be upset at us the believers because we have not gone out into the world to share the great news of Jesus as he has told us to do.
If I might add that even the people who know of Christ and still chose not to folllow him, they are not punished by God but suffer not having him in their lives. I hope this helps, God bless you !

There is only One God, people interpret it in different name, and form.
God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe and is beyond life and death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

There is only one God and thats the God of Abraham and moses...no other god/gods...however God in his infinite wisdom knows when you're ignorant of him and he will not hold anyone responsible for what they do not know...if you're ignorant of the truth and all you know is an idol then he'll not punish you but if you know about him and you deliberately deviate from him and then you'll suffer His wrath. God created everything and knows everything even the creatures that dwell deep under the earth. if you think about it,its His divine way of keeping the world balanced....everything has an opposite..beleiver,unbeleiver....good,bad.....ignorant,wise/enlightened....angels,demons....its all in His plan but one thing is for sure..He will not hold you accountable for your ignorance...maybe only if you truely chose to be ignorant.

God wouldn't punish anyone that didn't have the opportunity to know Him and His word. That's why so many Christians believe they need to 'spread the word'

Back when I was one of those Bible following fellows, I remember it being mentioned that ignorance of the word of God is forgivable, but knowing them and not following them is not.
