NEVER try to shoot a bullet out of any gun that's not chambered for that cartridge. For one thing, the 30.06 has a .308 bullet diameter and the 303 has a .311 dia. As for price, it would depend on condition, model etc. There were different 303s made. Some are worth more than others. Take it to a gun shop and they can give you an idea what it's worth.

You cannot chamber a 30-06 cartridge in a rifle chambered for 303 British, and it's a good thing, because the 30-06 is a higher-pressured round that would likely blow up your Enfield. One must use exactly the right case, and any dimensional variation of more than a couple of thousandths of an inch begs for trouble, if not downright disaster. All components, including primer, propellant and bullet, must be within strict limits, else very bad things happen.
On the other hand, the actual answer to your question is "yes." It's possible to pull the bullet from the 30-06 cartridge and load it in the 303 cases. The bullet is smaller (.308" vs. .311"), so accuracy will suffer, assuming you learn how to shoot, but it's possible. You've hit on one of the pet peeves of many of the people in the hunting section here, using the term "bullet" when you meant to say "cartridge."

Sure if you do not like the look of your face.
The 303 Brit has a bullet diameter of .311" the 30-06 bullet diameter is .308"
So you take a chance of screwing up your barrle but you can not chamber the 30-06 round into a 303 the 303 is a shorter cartridge.

No, the two rounds do NOT interchange. The .303 is rimmed, shoots a wider bullet and uses a shorter case. The .30-06 generates a lot more pressure so even if you could get your .303 rifle to chamber .30-06 shells you would probably blow it up when you fired it.
How much could you sell that old timer for? I don't know, how much did you pay for it? Base your asking price on that.
Good luck.

No! Hell No!
The 303 headspaces off the rim and the 30-06 from the shoulder, even if you could chamber the round. You'd stand a good chance of testing the action's safety features to the limit.
303s are actually .311s and 30-06 are 308s and that's a significant difference.
Just sell it to someone who knows what to do with it. My No4 MkII(F) shoots to point of aim at 100 yards and groups in a couple of inches.

No, no, no. 303 is a rimmed cartridge and 06 is rebated (rimless). It won't fit; and even if you fired it the bullet would rattle down the barrel as the 303 is larger diameter. Why don't you find an enfield affectionado and tune up your enfield? They are quite an accurate weapon if everything is in order, unless it is a jungle carbine, which left a lot to be desired for accuracy. I have a half a dozen of the old thundersticks and they all shoot quite accurately.

HELL NO!!!! Both the cartridge case and the bullet diameter are different. I doubt that .30-06 will even chamber in the .303 chamber. Even if you could get it in the chamber, you would have a bomb on your hands. Either get some .303 ammo or get a gun chambered for the .30-06 ammo that you have on hand.
