If you are having chest pain, it could be cardiac in origin, you could be having a heart attack or you could have something going on with your lung. Get off the computer and go to your local emergency room. This could be a medical emergency. Do not listen to advice on here. If you dont have anyone to drive you, call an ambulance.
In response to the comment below, chest pain is chest pain regardless of which side of the chest it is on. The heart and lungs are both enclosed in the chest cavity. Most heart attack victims complain of pain radiating down the left arm and midsternal pain, but not everyone is the same.

Listen to the answerer that listed a Nurse as their source.Heart attacks in women present differently than they do in men, with shoulder pain being one of the differences. Many women die from an undiagnosed heart attack every year, that is undiagnosed until they are in the morgue for an autopsy.
Because women have non-traditional symptoms they delay in seeking treatment when it could help them most and save their life.
Chest pain is always a medical emergency until it's source is determined.
Symptoms in women:
Indigestion or gas like pain
Dizziness, nausea or vomiting
Unexplained weakness, fatigue
Discomfort/pain between the shoulder blades
Recurring chest discomfort
Sense of impending doom
Symptoms that everyone can have:
Squeezing chest pain or pressure
Shortness of breath
Sweating
Tightness in chest
Pain spreading to shoulders, neck or arm, either arm
Feeling of heartburn or indigestion with or without nausea and vomiting
Sudden dizziness, or brief loss of consciousness
Jaw pain
Some heart attacks do not present with symptoms, but are just as deadly.Time cannot be wasted in getting care,to prevent permanent damage or to minimize it, or to save your life.Go Now!
If you are experiencing any of these take one aspirin,(chew it) and call 911 you need expert paramedics on hand to revive you if your heart stops enroute.

that is bizare pain extending down the arm is usualy a sign of a heart attack, but that is on the left side
could you have pulled something, did you exercise recentley?
If you start haveing a copper taste in your mouth, or shortness of breath get to a hospital ASAP
is your arm feeling weak? shakey? both of those would be bad signs too, if the pain continues down your arm you might have an embolisim in your right brachiosaphalic artery, again a bad thing
I would take some asprin for the pain (and to help if it is a heart attack) and sit on it for a bit, if it doesn't get better I would call a doctor or the local ER just to be safe

You must have bought a medical professionals appointment in the course of the day quicker and cancelled what ever you used to be doing, secondly sounds very just like a extreme chest contamination, i might of stated bronchitis however that does not most often include a runny nostril so im now not too certain, nevertheless honey is it appears supposed to be fairly well for that sort of crisis, keep at house in mattress, get lots of fluids and relaxation and get the tuition to e-mail you any paintings and so on. desire you suppose higher truly quickly :D x

Hi Snowbell. Generally, cardiac pain occurs on the left side. The symptoms you describe would be more consistent with gallbladder problems. Either way, you need to see a doctor for a thorough evaluation.
Best wishes and good luck.

If it is not heart related, it is from a lot of running or exercising too much.
