Im only 18 but i seem to get stressed over the smallest things i cant help it !!! i hate it and my friends and family call me a stress head have you and tips to help me stop this

Hi!

It seems that what you need is to relax. I know it's easier said than done but you've got to try to since you're too young to be stressed out! I'm no professional but I do get too stressed out sometimes as well. What I do is try to get sometime alone, go somewhere where there's some peace and quiet, or go somewhere nice (like to shop and just unwind).
There's no medical prescription for it. You gotta relax or you'll end up with wrinkles or worse, sick.

There are a number of things that help with stress. With the small things, there's a ton of things to help. When you get stressed, the easiest thing to do is to breath in through your nose, and out through your mouth. As silly as it sounds, it really works. Also, you could eat "happy foods". (I know it sounds corny, but that's what allot of people call them.) These are foods that make you feel good, like your favorite ice-cream flavor or, of course, chocolate. You could also do simple yoga moves (just stretch out your arms and legs like a tree, for example) and take warm baths (with lavender scents, which really can relax the brian.) Hope that helps!

I have the same issue. The best advice I can give you is to try to THINK LIKE A ROCK. Worrying won't help any, you could actually do a lot of harm to your body: panic attacks, heart attacks, pulsating ear veins, night terrors. You could die tomorrow, and all your worrying would be good for nothing. So try to relax, find things you find relaxing and think like a rock.

oh and try sleepytime tea like 3-5+ times a day. ;)

The way to stop this.... is to stop resisting life, people, etc.

In fact.... just for one moment.... stop trying to get anything. Stop trying to change anything.
