I usually don't eat if nothing appeals to me, but that can't be healthy. I mean... I am not exactly the thinnest person in the world; I could stand to lose a few, but this can't be the way to do it.

Good for you..finally a sensible attitude! Just watch the calorie count if you want to drop a few pounds and exercise for just 30 minutes a day, jog, run, elliptical, aerobics and you'll lose about 2 pounds a week (if you don't cheat) 1200 to 1400 calories a day would do the trick easily...but don't starve..your body will hold onto as much fat as possible if it thinks you're starving so weight management becomes almost impossible. It will slow down your metabolism to stop you from losing weight. Keep a food journal for a couple of weeks with everything you eat and calorie count. That will help you to see where you need to make changes. So eat the good stuff, avoid the bad stuff, and hit the pavement for 30 to 40 minutes a day..good luck

I hate days like that, and I have so many of them!!

If you're hungry, fix yourself a light sandwich. If you have cold cuts, layer them on a slice of bread, add your favorite topping. It may not be very appealing, but at least it's soemthing to snack on.

I also like to keep a collection of Luna bars on my car, office, gym bag at all times when possible. The Luna bars offer a good sugar boost and calorie drop, but not all the fat and calories.

If you't not hungry, by all means, you don't have to force yourself to eat either. Just remember though....take what is offered as you don't know when you'll get another chance to eat again. That means, you should eat, even if it's just a little, so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode.

I have the same problem, try having a few convenience foods around (granola bars etc.) It's easier to eat when you don't have to prepare anything.
