The only food coloring I was able to find was the store brand food coloring where I went. It has Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. If it makes a difference I am trying to color whipped cream to cover a cake.. and it needs to be flesh colored... any suggestions? I need this by tomorrow.. Thanks for your help.

To make brown mix 4 drops yellow, 3 drops red, and 2 drops green. I buy Sauer's food colors and eye dye. They have a color blend chart on the back. Good Luck!

For brown: To make brown, mix red and green gel or paste color or melt unsweetened chocolate or use cocoa powder and mix it into your white icing. Brown color occasionally has a green overtone to it which occurs with the presence of acid in the icing; lemon juice or cream of tartar, so omit. Also dissolving brown color in 1/4 teaspoon water before adding to icing will eliminate the green tone.

If i remember correctly it would be 3 drops of yellow and 1 of red. This should give you the peachy flesh color you need. Michaels and sometimes Joanns also carry food coloring in their cake decorating aisle. They would have the color you need.

I would start with mixing light orange and adding drip by drip of green and see what you get.....make a test batch first.
