Nomad is correct, the way you phrased your question you are asking about a 9mm pistol loaded to full capacity. If you are asking about a maximum power 9mm then you are asking about the 9mm +P+ or the European 9mm sub machine round which is loaded to maximum pressure.

Extended magazines are available for 9mm pistols that hold up to (and more than) 33 rounds of ammo. With one in the chamber you are looking at 34 rounds. Such a magazine is clumsy to use all the time because it extends so far down the bottom of your pistol. Glock's Model 17 holds 17 rounds with extenders for a couple of more bullets. These are very practical if one needs a high cap, 9mm pistol. A lot of these are seeing service in Afghanistan & Iraq now.
