You would have right-sided pain right under your ribs, or possibly an upset stomach accompanied by diarrhea. Strangely enough, most people with cholecystitis (gallbladder disease) complain of having a sharp pain near their right shoulderblade (I know I did).

If you are having symptoms like this, make sure you see your doctor. They can order some tests to confirm the diagnosis.

Best of luck!

Right upper quadrant of your chest by your ribs.

A bad gallbladder can also cause excruciating lower back pain. You can also feel heartburn and feel bad after eating fatty, spicy foods.

Had my gallbladder out laproscopically in '04.
Came home the same day!

Many people have chestpain, nausea, vomitting. Very often it "comes on" after fatty or fried foods. One warning sign is a yellowish color to the whites of the eyes and skin. This is a dangerous symptom that should be followed up on immediately with a physician. The pain can be excruitiating while the inflamation is ongoing. Many mistaken it for heart attack.

Gall bladder pain is usually in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen and radiates into the back flank area.
Its usually accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Some people complain of pain in other places, but the right upper quadrant is usually the most recognized.
