I think that it may depend on who is our leaders in the next Presidential/Congressional term. I see The USA as Judah at the end of King Josiah's life. The next leadership may very well bring us in to Captivity, as Josiah's sons did.

We have been praying for this country....IT is in bad shape!
The next Prez has to hear from God in order to turn the country around, well help....

Also, then the Values voter debate (.com) was held many many people prayed and fasted to have God give a clear winner....

Yes, Brother, He has been *extremely* patient and longsuffering with us, hasn't He? If there is not a revival, starting with those of us who call ourselves Christians, in the very near future, I believe that He will tell Jesus that it's *time*, starting with the rapture of those of us who are completely sold out to Him, then proceeding with the Great Tribulation! We who name the Name of Christ in the United States of America have too long let our society deteriorate around us without doing what needs to be done for far too long!

So many people today try to equate abberant lifestyles with skin color, as if these practices are not a choice! However, I have heard the niece of Martin Luther King, Jr state that she knows people who were formerly homosexuals or formerly Lesbians, but has never met a former black person! The so-called "gay" community clambers for equal rights; but what they "really" want are special rights; for example, these persons alredy have the legal right to marry a person of the opposite sex who is legally eligible to marry! And "hate crime" legislation is simply a thinly disguised attempt at mind or thought control, ala "1984" - especially of someone who commits a crime against a minority or a homosexual person; however most violence against minorities are committed by others in the same peer group and most violence committed against homosexuals is committed by other homosexuals! In reality, *every* crime is a "hate crime"!

Too many people seem to believe it is better to murder an innocent child in the womb, claiming such a practice is "better" than the woman or girl giving birth, then putting the baby up for adoption; thus making innocent children pay for the sins of father or of both the father and mother! And when it comes to adoption in the USA, the government makes the process of adoption so arduous that people eager to adopt babies often have to seek them from other countries, while our own "unwanted" and orphaned babies grow up to be children who go from foster home to foster home, often being physically, emotionally and sexually abused along the way, and in the process becoming more and more undesirable for someone to adopt! The pro-abortionists use rape and incest and "health of the mother" to promote their agenda; however very few rapes result in pregnancy, not every incestuously-born child is "defective" and any honest obstetrician will tell you that the health of the mother is *rarely* improved by having an abortion! In fact, a female may become sterile as the result of an abortion or die as a result of a botched procedure. Studies have also shown a statistically significant increase in clinical depression and an increased risk of breast cancer in women who have had abortions! Margaret Sanger and Allen Guttmacher, founders of Planned Parenthood, were eugenicists seeking to restrict and limit the proliferation of Negroes and other "undesirable and defective" people through means of birth control, then through abortion! Sanger enlisted the support and approval of black ministers in her endeavors to "improve the plight of the poor". Also, please note that every head of Planned Parenthood, since Sanger, herself, has been a black woman!

Before the government started its headlong course of taking care of people from cradle to grave, at ever increasing taxes, the Church provided charity: money, food and shelter to the poor and downtrodden. The Church operated tuberculosis sanatoriums and asylums for "lunatics" and the "insane", the epileptic and the "feeble-minded"; and had as good a cure rate for mental illness as there is today with all the psychotropic medications now available!

George Orwell wrote his novel with the prediction that many of these things happening today would take place sooner than they have; however his choice of a title was by simply changing the last two digits of the year he wrote it, 1948, in order to come up with the title: "1984". But, in this Twenty-first Century, we too often call good "evil" and call evil "good"! We have become so politically correct, we can no longer call a spade a "spade"! We call truth a "lie" and call lies the "truth"! I shudder when I hear even Paul Harvey speak of a child who is "23 months young" instead of 23 months old - me, I'm 67-plus years "old"! The only people allowed to call deaf people "deaf" or blind people "blind" are their peers - the rest of us have to refer to them as "hearing' or "visually impaired"! In the two World Wars, America had "boys" going off to war, even if they were in their late 30s or early 40s - today we have 16 and 17 year old "men" and "women"!
