have been working as a nanny for us family 2years on my J-1 exchange program visa. I am going back to Czech Republic in couple weeks and applying for F-1 for spring semester. They are going to be my sponsor for student visa, but they are not my relatives. Is there a chance to get it?
I have already been accepted to school so I've got my I-20, they paid for school for my next semester already, I've got affidavit support and letter from them. Is there anything else that could increase chance and help?

A non-relative sponsor is no different than any other form of scholarship - as long as the financial resources are pledged toward your education, it meets the school's I-20 and the Department of State's visa requirements. As long as you are deemed to be a legitimate student, you are not bound by a J-1 foreign residency requirement, and you have the resources, you should be fine.

A sponsor could be a non-relative as long as the would sponsor has the capacity to finance the expenses of the student.

Get an affidavit of support from them. You need an I-20 from the school that has accepted you as an international student.
