Abdominal scar tissue pain?

I had 2 colon resections in March and when I do chores around the house, the scar tissue hurts Is that normal?

Yes, I had a lump removed from my breast in 1998 and now and again when I do certain chores the scar itches, pains, especially in cold weather.
