Recording PS3 Gameplay?

Can I just put a blank DVD in the DVD drive press record when my PS3 is on and it will record what ever is on the TV.

i don't know about put it on a blank dvd in the press. i think the best way to record ps3 gameplay is to buy the gamebridge. buy this baby, you can play your ps3 and other systems on the computer and you can record your favorite gameplay.

go to ebay.com and search "gamebridge".

If you plug in your PS3 via DVD-recorder - why not.
