he probably thinks it's romantic and you like this. also, he is showing off to you because he likes you a lot.

Yup, I had numerous guys of different races asking me out before, but I always reject them because I don't play the dating game until I get to college. Honestly, I really don't care about dating at all because the most important thing to me is education and family/friends. Anyway, my suggestion to you is to just give him a chance. If he's not the type of guy you like, then you can always confront him about that afterwards. From your description about him, I personally won't date guys that are players or ganster wannabe. To me, that's a huge turn-off and I especially hate those type of guys. But that's just my preference though. If you're really not attracted to him, then it's you decision to reject him or not. I can understand that trying new things the first time can be scary, but it's important to have confidence in what you're doing.

It's easier to express strong feelings (extremes such as love and hate especially) in your native tongue. I'm guessing that your bf doesn't hate you so it's probably the other option. Sometimes you just can't find the words in another language. Sometimes I get ready to do that but if I know that the person will not be able to understand me I catch myself but there are some things that you really CAN'T say in another language without distorting the meaning.
Hope I helped. :/

most people who do that are shy and have a hard time exprssing them selves.sometimes itrs for fear of saying it wron or feeling stupid.they have a hard time expressing there own feelings.maybe help him and tell him to just say whats on his mind in your language and convince him it would be just as wonderful and more meaning full coming fromm the real him. boost his esteem

Personally i dont think hes shy or insecure .i think what he sends in another language is not true.Bcuz if a guy really liked you he would say it to you in person, looking into your eyes. That will make it more real.

Perhaps he thinks it is more romantic, or perhaps he is trying to get you interested in the other language. Or another idea is that he is trying to impress you with his knowledge. I personally think it is sweet! =)
