Okay, so the iraqis are doing plays and criticizing us and their new government. You're welcome, Iraq ~! Mission Accomplished !! Whoever said we couldn't export freedom was clearly wrong. What do you think ?

you're missing my point, that's what I'm saying... in saddam's time if they had tried this they would've been executed right away, now they have the freedom to say whatever they want to say.

Good point %, just by the mere fact that the Iraqis can do this small thing, this freedom called protest, it is a good sign that they are well on thier way, I'm sure others would disagree because of the Burger King mentality in the U.S. " We want it fast and we want it yesterday"
Hmmm gee, how long did it take our Country to get it somewhat right??? 200 plus years and we are still trying to get it right and still have a long way to go.
I hope and pray that one day all of our servicemen and women who sacrificed thier lives will be able to see a free Iraq, that can protest and express themeselves without fear and also pass that gift we all call freedom to another country.
One day..........

As you probably know the U.S. governent didn't start off that great. There was infighting between the forefathers, many people supported the British during the Revolutionary War and the U.S. Constitution was actually version 2.5 (the .5 being he Bill of Rights). Heck, there was even a Civil War later on.
Iraq is going to go through the same kinds of problems.

Clearly, they're fitting right in, at least in terms of the Western tradition of griping about the government and politics. It's nice to do those things without the risk of VX, isn't it?

They criticized us when Saddam was in power and they criticize us now. The didn't like us before and they like us even less now. Saddam was killing them before and we are killing them now.
We didn't export freedom. We created an financial bonanza for corporations and an abattoir for our troops and Iraqi civilians.

The mission has changed boys!
Want to see a Frenchman break down and cry like a baby? (In front of him) Give a German a gun, a pair of combat boots and point him toward the west! Iran and Syria! Are you paying attention?!!!
Iraqi's are not at liberty to say what they please about their new government. Time to move on.

We criticize our own government all the time. That doesn't mean we aren't still thankful to live in the USA.
